About Christina

Christina is an avid and accomplished equestrian with competitive results in the disciplines of hunt seat, dressage, eventing, jumpers and competitive trail.  She has learned about many of these disciplines by listening to her horses and determining which sport they would be best at, which has opened up new sports and opportunities.

A life long student of equestrianism, Christina is lucky to have ridden extensively with mentors Denny Emerson and Rachel Greene-Lowell, as well as Verne Batchelder and Beth Adams.  Christina has had the opportunity to ride in clinics with many equestrian luminaries, including Conrad Schumacher, Jan Ebeling, Greg Best, Kim Severson, Amy Barrington, Nona Garson, Cindy Canace, Jen Verharen, Kathy Connelly and more.  She has completed the “L” program for dressage judges through the USDF.

Some of Christina’s proudest equestrian accomplishments have come from the performances of horses she partially or wholly developed herself. These achievements include:

USEA Reserve Champion Area I Novice Championships (Carmel)

USDF Region 8 Champion Second Level Musical Freestyle (Weltinus)

USDF Bronze Medal (Weltinus)

Completion of GMHA 100 Mile Competitive Trail Ride (twice) (Liatris)

American Connemara Pony Society Award of Excellence in Dressage and Silver Medals in Jumpers and Eventing (JEF Anna Rose)

Christina is currently on the board of governors for the American Connemara Pony Society (ACPS) and the Connemara Committee for the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF).
