Fabulous internship opportunity for motivated, mature students with interest in advancing their horsemanship skills. Cold Moon Farm is looking for a Summer 2019 Horsemanship Intern/Working Student. Hours are flexible and generally can be arranged around other commitments, though a schedule will be required and morning availability is preferred.

Duties may include: Assistance with conditioning of CMF horses for distance, dressage and jumping work; assistance with the early training of our rising two year old prospect (to include intro to longeing, longlining, short trailering, wearing tack, etc.) and ground assistance with the training of our four year old; preparation of mounts for trainer, tack cleaning, and possible grooming at shows. Working students will accompany Principal Horseman Christina Keim to any clinics as an auditor/groom. Assistance with some basic barn chores may be necessary at times but this is not the main focus for our working students.
Intermediate level riding skills are required for this opportunity. Previous working students have progressed to working independently with CMF horses throughout the school year.
CMF is located in Rochester, NH, just 20 min from the UNH campus. Contact Christina Keim for more information christinakeimequestrian@gmail.com.
